Kids Online Learning

If you want to use the internet in order to foster a love of learning in your kids, you’ve come to the right place. Simply continue reading to discover some online tools which can help you teach your kids brand new skills.

Kids Online Learning:

Duolingo:

If you’re keen for your kids to learn a second language, it’s well worth signing up for a Duolingo account. Which will allow your kids to learn a variety of languages such as Spanish, French and Japanese on a smart phone, tablet or laptop. Learning a new language is far easier for children than adults, so it’s a smart idea to encourage your children to learn a language of their choosing. Duolingo offers kid friendly software which offers an interactive approach to learning a new language and is guaranteed to hold your kids’ attention.

National Geographic Kids:

National Geographic Kids offers fun online games such as quizzes which your kids will enjoy playing. As an example, your kids will be able to compete in general knowledge quizzes which feature popular Disney characters such as Queen Elsa from Frozen. One example of a kid friendly quiz question which features on National Geographic Kids’ quizzes is which US president donated one of the two tiger cubs which he received to a zoo?

One of the reasons why kids will enjoy playing interactive games of National Geographic Kids is that they’ll be able to try and obtain high scores against other kids around the world. If your child is highly competitive they’ll love climbing the leaderboards for their favorite National Geographic Kids’ quizzes and games.

Google Lit Trips:

Google Lit Trips is an incredible website which will allow your kids to virtually walk in the shoes of some of their favorite literary characters. Better yet Google Lit Trips offers different interactive stories for children in different grades. So you won’t have any trouble finding age appropriate choices for your children. Some examples of some of the stories which your children will get to learn about on Google Lit Trips include We All Went On Safari which is appropriate for young children and The Diary of Anne Frank which is suited to children in grades 9 to 12.

Scholastic:

If you want your kids to devour books, introduce them to the Scholastic website. As it features educational games which boast famous characters from Scholastic books. Some examples of which include characters from The Magic School Bus as well as Clifford The Big Red Dog. If your kids love purchasing books from their school’s Scholastic book fair, they’ll instantly fall in love with Scholastic’s interactive website. As they’ll get to play games which feature characters which they already know and love from their favorite books.

So if you’d love for your kids to start reading more books or to learn a new language, it’s well worth introducing your kids to some of the fun educational kids websites which are listed above. Especially if your kids have a thirst for knowledge and love playing interactive games.
